Boise's Premiere Children's Consignment Sale

There are two basic options for consignment participation:

PLAN A - In the Treasure Valley, we accept HIGH QUALITY children's clothing, maternity clothing, toys, furniture and baby equipment on consignment and sell at our event. We pay consignors 70% of the sale price they set. (Higher percentages are available. Check our Incentives page for details.) Consignor's checks and reports are available on pick up day after the sale. You don't have to wait for it to arrive in the mail! Please note that you must have a minimum of 20 items at least $100 worth of items to be eligible to consign.

Local consignors tag, hang, and deliver their items to the sale. After the sales event, they have the option of picking up their unsold items or having us donate them to a charity.

PLAN B - VIP CONSIGNMENT – If you are extremely busy, but would still like to receive a great return for your children's clothing, toys, furniture, and baby equipment, let us help you! Just make sure your items are clean. We will pick up, hang, tag and price them for you. With this option, the consignor makes 50% and still receives special Consignor Passes to the Pre-sale and Consignor Half Price Sale. Remember, the items must be excellent quality. Please note that the window of opportunity to sign up for VIP Consignment will close on April 4, 2008 as we will need extra time to prepare these items.

All consignors will be given passes to shop the sale and ½ price sale before the public. You will have first dibs on all of the awesome bargains!

Items we are accepting for consignment:

The Spring 2008 Sale will consist of children and junior clothing and shoes, maternity and nursing clothing and accessories, baby accessories and bedding, toys/books/videos, and equipment such as strollers/cribs/walkers/etc. Please note that due to the overwhelming number of clothes that we are expecting we are going to limit Spring 2008 items to spring and summer clothes and related items only.

Every item will be checked in during drop-off and any unacceptable items will be sent home with the consignor. Please don't be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. We will be screening items very closely so as to maintain the quality of the sale. We reserve the right to refuse any item that we feel may not sell. It is often easy to miss a spot or tear when you are getting your items ready at home. We want to be known for having the best quality merchandise and we want you, as a purchaser, to have confidence that you are buying the best at Moppet Togs.

Moppet Togs reserves the right to exclude sellers and shoppers from our sale that do not show "shopping and selling ethics" that we believe make this a fair and fun sale.

Clothes

We will accept boy's sizes 0-20, girl's sizes 0-16 and junior sizes 1-11 in teen styles as well as shoes in excellent condition.

Maternity of any season will be accepted, but it MUST be current style.

Clothes will NOT be accepted if they show signs of wear, have stains or holes, are missing buttons, are out of date, etc.

We reserve the right to refuse any item that we feel may not sell, based on style, quality, etc.

Baby Accessories and Bedding

Baby accessories are welcomed. See a suggestions list below. Baby bedding is also accepted.

Toys/Books/Videos

Please only bring toys and videos that are in working order. All toys must be clean. If an item requires batteries, please include them.

Moppet Togs reserves the right to NOT accept books and videos which they feel include questionable content.

Equipment

Larger items such as strollers, walkers, cribs, etc. are also welcomed.

Please make sure they are clean and in working order, with all pieces included unless otherwise noted on tag.

Here are some additional suggestions: clothes, blankets, sports equipment, toys, hair bows, riding toys, strollers, high chairs, maternity clothing, play pens, car seats, diaper disposals, baby beds, playhouses, children's bikes, books, nursery needs, nursery decorations, hats, portable cribs, crib bedding, swings, videos, nursing supplies, diaper bags, pajamas, potty chairs, tricycles, bottles, changing tables, cups, bassinets, bed guardrails, shoes, bunk beds, outside toys, etc. If you have any additional ideas or questions about acceptable items, please feel free to contact us.
