Since 2005, Moppet Togs has been the Treasure Valley’s Premier Children’s Consignment Sale. Held twice per year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall, Moppet Togs provides a venue for Treasure Valley families to buy and sell their gently used and new name brand children’s clothes, toys, furniture, and other associated children’s items.
Our Mission is to provide quality clothes and other associated items at reasonable prices, support our charities and have a really good time.
We Think We Make a Difference
Moppet Togs has been doing this twice per year for over ten years. When we started our kids were babies and now they are in high school. There have been some major challenges along the way that have caused lots of stress and tears and made us question why we are going this. However, we keep moving forward because we believe that we provide the opportunity for Treasure Valley families to cloth their children with quality name brand clothes at affordable prices. It is very rewarding to see families come through the checkout line with enough quality clothes for the entire season for 4 or 5 kids knowing that they couldn’t enough even half these clothes at other stores. The gratitude from the parents and the smiles on the kids faces make it all worth while.
In addition, although we don’t talk about it or look for recognition, over the years we have donated thousands of clothes and other items to local charities and also sponsor a charity night that benefits a local charity of our choice. We hope these clothes and the money we raise for these charities makes a difference in the lives of homeless and battered woman and their children and children facing the challenges of cancer.
We are Grateful to Our Consignors and Volunteers
We are so grateful to the hundreds of consignors and volunteers that have helped us over the past 10 years and made Moppet Togs possible. We couldn’t do it without you. And, to those special few who have been such patient and remarkable friends through all of the ups and downs of the past 10 years, you can’t image how much you to mean to us.
